Maria Asteriou is the Co-founder of the non-profit organization People Behind, where she works as Communication and Fundraising Manager. After a short period at the Political Studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, she studied Theater and Music. She holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Communication and Public Relations.

She is trained in Event Management, Life Coaching and Social Entrepreneurship. She has worked as Project Manager for European projects and as Event Manager in cultural events of for- and non- profit organizations.
