Dr. Alexandra -Sofia Togia is an Economist, holder of a PhD in the Socio-Economics of Development and postdoctoral research in the evaluation of European policies on Municipal Solid Waste management. Since October 2023, she has served as Managing Director of the Hellenic Recycling Agency (HRA), with responsibility for recycling, the circular economy, alternative waste management, and the implementation of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programs. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Natural Environment and Climate Change Agency (NECCA) and has previously served as Director of the Department of International Development Cooperation (YDAS 4) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
