Lina Basta is a journalist and television presenter with a long-standing and multifaceted career in the media industry of Western Greece. Since 2000, she has been actively involved in journalism, building an extensive professional career across television, radio and print media, while earning the trust and respect of both audiences and colleagues.

She has worked for several prominent regional television stations, including Super B, Teletime and Achaia Channel. For twelve years, she was one of the leading radio personalities of Max FM and has also collaborated with ANT1 Radio. In parallel, she worked as a correspondent for the national newspaper “Ethnos”, covering major news and developments across Western Greece.

Since 2017, Lina Basta has been a key member of IONIAN TV, where she presents the daily current affairs programme “METROPOLIS”, focusing on current events, people, developments and stories from Western Greece. At the same time, she serves as Director of News, playing an active role in the editorial planning, organization and overall development of the station’s news and current affairs content.

With more than 25 years of professional experience in journalism, Lina Basta has built her career around credible reporting, journalistic research and a human approach to both current affairs and the people at the heart of the stories.
